Peter has counseled clients across a broad range of industry sectors—including financial services, real estate, blockchain technology and healthcare—on matters involving corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and private securities offerings. He has extensive experience working with new capital market initiatives and has guided many clients with sophisticated needs through complex and dynamic regulatory environments. Peter has particular expertise with Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF), Rule D 506(c), Regulation A+, and the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, as well as with obtaining regulatory approvals from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
One of Peter’s select areas of practice has been investment-based immigration. He regularly represents investors and entrepreneurs from diverse national and cultural backgrounds, as well as regional centers, developers, business owners, and other stakeholders.

Jay graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics and received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law.
He is a founding member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of South Florida and its first president. APABA recently awarded Jay with its first-ever Trailblazer Award.
At the Florida Bar, the statewide association and agency of the Florida Supreme Court in which all Florida lawyers must have membership, Jay was part of the inaugural class of the Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy and has served on many committees. Jay served as a governor for the 17th Judicial Circuit on The Florida Bar Board of Governors. He is the first Asian-American to hold this position in the history of The Florida Bar.
